The number of Burmese refugees continues to grow because of Burma’s ongoing human rights abuses and desperate economic conditions.   Over 450,000 people are internally displaced in eastern Burma while up to 1.5 million Burmese are living in hardship as economic migrants across Thailand.

The cost to provide clean water to a Burmese refugee for an entire year is only 35 cents!  A single filtration system can provide clean water for 800 people for 20 years!  Would you consider a donation of $20 and give a gift of life-giving water this Christmas?  Your tax-deductible contribution of $20 will provide clean water for 12 Burmese refugees for 10 years!
